I am a fully qualified clinical hypnotherapist and stress managment consultant with clinics in Wimborne and Dorchester, specialising in treatments for stress, anxiety, insomnia, stop-smoking, weight-loss, phobias (fear of flying etc), tinnitus, pain management, sports performance, public speaking and pre-exam nerves.

I also have over 20 years experience as a Coach and Mentor for a wide range of services, including helping you have the confidence to get your new idea off the ground, building your self esteem, looking through an existing business and helping you take it to the next stage, and enabling you to change the patterns of the past so that you can create the life you desire.

I can see you online, using either Zoom or Skype, or in established clinics in Poundbury (Dorchester) and Wimborne in Dorset. In certain cases I will visit you at home if required.

Having smoked for nearly 35 years I had reached a point in life where I was not sure I could quite the habit. A friend from work referred me having successfully quit smoking over 8 years ago through hypnosis. I was smitten and self confident. The day arrived and I was excited. Yesterday marked 4 weeks of living without smoking or any alternative. It can be done… I think you are the key to your own success. Without ambition to quit, it unlikely to work. I am so grateful that Richard was able to endorse my commitment to quiting nicotine. 10/10

Richard helped me stop smoking and vaping after 35 years. I’d tried so many methods of stopping including hypnotherapy but with no luck so I was sceptical! However I really wanted to stop and Richard came highly recommended. It worked! I no longer want to smoke or vape, even in stressful or social situations, it’s amazing and I’m so pleased! I’m also not substituting with food which was something I’d done previously. Richard is extremely nice and made me feel at ease immediately. He was very thorough in finding out why I smoked/vaped and that process itself was very cathartic. The hypnotherapy was very relaxing. I had two sessions and feel it was worth every penny. If you really want to stop smoking or vaping, this is your man!
